CONTINUING EDUCATION INFORMATION

A certificate of attendance will be awarded to participants who attend conference presentation. They will indicate the number of Contact Hours represented by the presentations attended. In order to receive this certificate with the appropriate number of hours, the participant must sign the roster at each event attended. The number of total hours will be recorded on the certificate.

For those attending the Pre-conference workshops, the two CISM workshops have been approved by the University of Maryland - Baltimore County and have been approved bt the Wyoming Psychological Association for Continuing Education. The number of Hours will be listed on the certificates presented by both the Institute and ICISF. The other three workshops will present certificates following completion indicating the number of Contact Hours and approval of CEUs by the Wyoming Psychological Association. If you wish any of these for POST credit or for other professional requirements, the certificate should be proof of attendance. You should submit the workshop objectives to the licensing authority together with the signed certificates.

The post-conference workshop has been approved for continuing education by the Americam Psychological Association and the National Association of Social Workers. It has also been approved by the Association of Traumatic Specialists (ATSS) for certification and recertification as a Trauma Specialist, a Trauma Responder, and a Trauma Services Specialist. It is also approved by the Academy of Traumatology and Green Cross Foundation for Traumatology 1004 - Clinical Treatment Skills.
